Artist's Description
The Yuba River in Northern California is one of the last remote stretches of river and some of the most beautiful landscape lay along its banks, especially in the fall, as the grasses turn yellow and accent the moss covered boulders that line the river banks. The Black Oak trees dominate the surrounding area and turn a beautiful gold mixed in with the green Ponderosa pine trees that are native to this area. The river's banks have red's of the Dogwood, and orange colors of Indian Rhubarb, and long yellow sedge grasses all of these natives grow beneath the pines along the river's wet banks.
