An umbrella in the foreground on the beach as the sun goes down on Lake Malawi in the Mongochi southern end of Lake Malawi in Africa. Lake Malawi National Park is a UNESCO world hereitage site and one of the largest fresh water lakes in the world and supports a variety of endemic species.The sunsets and sunrise over the lake are always vibrant and colorful and the villagers are seen regulaarly coming and going to the lakes edge for water as the woman can be seen here in the lower edge of the frame with a large water vessel on her head. The fish are plentiful and the main source of food for the villages that are nearby.
