Artist's Description
A man stands on top of a rock at night gazing up at the Milky Way in the Alabama Hills outside of Lone Pine in the Owens Valley of California. The area of rocky foothills, arches and bridges are famous as many movies have been filmed in this location with the Eastern Sierra's as a backdrop and Mt. Whitney being the star of the show at an elevation of 14,969 feet.
