Off a promising muddy road, we came across this scene of a small valley strewn with colors of Hawthorn, Mountain Maples and Aspens. The vibrant colorful scene was like none I have ever witnessed before in the Autumn and after four-wheeling in as far as we could, I got out and began hiking through the muddy damp woods to be able to see the view from the side of the hill as I got into this clearing.
This area because of these red Mountain Maples is just incredibly beautiful in the Autumn.
Idaho is a beautiful state and one that I hope to visit again soon.
